What is Matchdays?

Matchdays is a free-to-play, skill-based football prediction game where you predict real match results and win a cryptocurrency token called MATDY as a reward. It’s like a fantasy sports game focused on match outcomes – completely free and no betting involved.

How is this different from betting or gambling?

Unlike betting, with Matchdays you’re not staking any money and you can’t lose money – you’re only using your knowledge to earn points and rewards. It’s a skill game, not a chance game. We use real match outcomes to score your predictions, but you’re not wagering anything. This keeps it fun and risk-free (and totally legal in all regions we operate in).

How are points calculated?

Behind the scenes, Matchdays uses a state-of-the-art point calculation system. It doesn’t just check if your prediction was right or wrong—it looks deeper. The system considers past statistical data, team strength, and how far off your predicted score was from the actual result.

It factors in how difficult your prediction was and how close you came, then assigns points accordingly. So while you might still get full points for an exact score, you’ll also be rewarded fairly for near-misses—especially when predicting tough or unexpected outcomes.

What can I win?

Primarily, you win MATDY tokens when you perform well. Even if you don’t come out on top, you’ll still earn items like precision or Boot (see the gamplay page) that could lead potencially to earn MATDY tokens. It’s all about fun and recognition, with the token as a real bonus.

Do I need a crypto wallet to play or receive rewards?

To play the game, no wallet is needed – you can just sign up with an email. If you win tokens, we’ll hold them in your account until you’re ready to claim. When you want to withdraw your MATDY, then you’ll need a crypto wallet to transfer them to. We’ll provide simple instructions on how to set up a free wallet (like MetaMask) when the time comes.

Is MATDY on exchanges? How can I convert it to cash?

MATDY will be listed on cryptocurrency exchanges (planned for around the time of public launch). Once it’s listed, you could swap MATDY for other cryptocurrencies like ETH or USDT, which in turn can be cashed out to your local currency via various services.

We’ll announce which exchanges or platforms support MATDY – stay tuned to our social pages. Keep in mind, the value of MATDY can go up or down based on market conditions.

How do I sign up and is my data safe?
